Anne Saffert

Anne SaffertFinance and Operations Manager

If Conservation Minnesota were a rock band, Anne Saffert would be our drummer. As the Finance and Operations Manager, she finds herself just outside of the spotlight, but charged with creating the beat that drives the rest of our work.

The Edina native and current Golden Valley resident, (we’ll overlook the fact that she spent her childhood in Wisconsin and self-identifies as a cheesehead) received her undergrad degree from the College of St. Benedict before earning an MBA with a concentration in Environmental Management from St. Thomas. Like most of her co-workers, her favorite place in Minnesota was hard to pin down, but she ultimately settled on the public dock near her home because her kids love to bike there to look for turtles. When she’s not keeping the office afloat, Anne works as a volunteer firefighter with the Golden Valley Fire Department.

Anne Saffert Fun Fact:  Once had dinner and attended a play with Tom Brokaw and his wife.
