LCV’s 2023 National Environmental Scorecard

February 28, 2024—Conservation Minnesota Voter Center released the League of Conservation Voters’ 2023 National Environmental Scorecard, evaluating the environmental records of Minnesota’s congressional delegation. LCV scores votes on the most important environmental issues of the year, including energy, climate change, public health, environmental justice, public lands, wildlife conservation, spending for environmental programs, and more.

The Scorecard is available online at scorecard.lcv.org.

February 28, 2023—Conservation Minnesota Voter Center released the Minnesota delegation’s scores for the League of Conservation Voters’ 2022 National Environmental Scorecard, highlighting the actions of many of our state’s leaders to protect our environment and build a clean energy future.


LCV’s 2021 National Environmental Scorecard 

March 2, 2022—Conservation Minnesota Voter Center today released the Minnesota delegation’s scores on the League of Conservation Voters’ 2021 National Environmental Scorecard. The Scorecard is the primary yardstick for evaluating the environmental records of every member of Congress, and is available online at scorecard.lcv.org.

MPCA Commissioner resigns in face of partisan firing

July 6, 2021—MPCA Commissioner Laura Bishop resigned rather than be fired in retribution for her work to protect Minnesotans’ air, water, and climate. GOP senators have made it clear they are more committed to partisan politics than public health. The threatened firing comes on the heels of a contentious session where the same senators threatened to withhold environment funding if the Walz administration didn’t delay or halt the already approved Clean Cars rule.
